A few of my favorite shots for a Holiday Photo session I shot with the Stonaker Family. Thanks!

What a bunch of cuties! I always love shooting the Taich family. Shooting photos and capturing moments of these four high energy, diverse personalitied bunch is only possible because of my years of shooting sports when I worked as a photojournalist in the newspaper industry. Thanks again kids, I love watching you all grow.

I once again headed up to Orange County to shoot brand new baby Owen. When I get to a family’s home to shoot a baby, I never know what to expect. Every baby is quite different and every home has its own feel. I hit the jackpot on this one. What a little handsome doll! Barely three-weeks-old and look how he holds himself up! With his agility, it was possible for me to get a few different kinds of photos than my usual newborn bag o’ tricks. Thanks to his parents for having a house for me with lots of beautiful light. Enjoy!

I didn’t know if I should post this under babies or kids because the one year mark is definitely a transition stage into toddlerhood. Mila is my own daughter’s “Bestie”, well, her mother and I like to think so. The girls are three months apart but have yet to express their love for one another. But besides that, check out Mila hanging in her grandparent’s backyard giving me her best doe eyes and Angela Jolie lips. What a doll!

I had a blast trying to capture photos of 2 and 4-year-old brothers, Mason and Jaden, as they blurred on by me with their swords and capes. They were adorable and hilarious and seriously made me consider how cool it would be to have a boy! I added in one photo of their lovely mom, Kelly, who wasn’t expecting (or wanting?) her photo taken that day but I couldn’t pass up sharing this moment.

Oh yeah, and the Pannikin in Leucadia. OK, how cute is little Cecilia? I took photos of her and her parents, Candice and Christopher, just before The Holidays last year and I am finally posting a few of my tops favorites from our session. Thanks for checking them out!

The last time I photographed little CJ was when he was only 6-weeks-old so it is was so cool to see how a baby can change in a about a year! He definitely had good use of his walking (er, running) legs and a lot of personality. Although it was tough to get the “look at the camera and smile” shot, his personality provided for much more funny and interesting moments. We shot this session at the Oceanside, so with only a small window to shoot during sunset and a very crowded location, I was actually really happy with the results of this session. Here some of my personal favorites. Thanks guys!

Yes, it has been awhile since I posted. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working hard! 2010 ended with a bunch of family portrait sessions. The sessions started at one of my favorite beach locations, Torrey Pines State Beach in Del Mar. Here are a few pics from the great shoot with Jim and Sandy and their daughter, Nicole.
